  • Combining visual art with poetry, students will illustrate an accordion book featuring their own chosen Haiku, a traditional form of Japanese poetry, fostering both literary and artistic expression.

  • Through the use of watercolour and ink, children will experiment with blending colours and creating dynamic compositions, enhancing their artistic skills.

  • Students will create their own Kokeshi dolls, a traditional Japanese craft, learning about the history and symbolism of these charming wooden figures and will delve into the world of fashion by designing their own kimono patterns, drawing inspiration from traditional motifs and modern interpretations.

  • The works of Yayoi Kusama, renowned for her bold use of colour and pattern, will serve as a muse for our students as they create their own 2D and 3D works of art
